Me just chilling in the tag watching everyone else

But on the inside after seeing the spoilers, I feel like this is a repeat of merlin. At least for me. Here's the thing. I can only watch the eps a day after they release due to personal scheduling. And the final ep is aired on the 29th meaning I'll only be able to watch it on the 30th. I'll get to why the 30th is so important in a sec but think about all the unresolved points left, tul and waan, team address p'ton death, win's family issues. Sure they might be left hanging, but the fact remains that they ARE STILL NOT TOGETHER! FOR FUCKS SAKE JUST TALK! *says the person who is a similar situation to team and won't say jack shit* but yeah. It's gonna end on the 30th for me.... my 20th birthday. This is merlin all over again. (Yes I watched that show live when I was 9)

THIS HAS BEEN SITTING UNFINISHED FOR ALMOST A FUCKING YEAR #and of course i get around to it right after making that stupid masterpost. well there's another one to add i guess #anyway. this was originally now that you're gone part 2. basically aryll's counterpart to their dad's perspective #botw #loz #skribbles #i will say ignoring this for so long was good actually because it confirmed my suspicions that my pen pressure no longer works #the way it used to. so if you see any weird inconsistencies between panels or pages it's not me it's my fucking tech #for some reason i need WAY more pressure than i used to to get the same level of opacity in sai which is. not great for my hands #but whatever ive gotten used to it by now. ignore the inconsistencies in this comic its fine

I fear that "fire bending didn't come easy to zuko" and "zuko isn't a prodigy" (both true) has somehow snowballed into "zuko is a bad or at best average fire bender".... which simply isn't true, especially by the end of book 3

#it certainly doesn't help that pretty much the only other fire bender that Zuko's consistently contrasted with #is his extremely talented once in a lifetime level of a prodigy sister #but guys he's still very powerful #and I will bravely propose that #after seeing the dragons #and Zuko is no longer relying on his anger and rage to fuel his firebending #its not a coincidence that the next two battles that he has with Azula either #end with a stalemate (both Zuko and Azula use the same move on the airship and notably she's blown back further from it than he is!)#and then him winning (she's lost her stability while he's finally found his)#(side side note: I'm of the camp that Azula targeting Katara in the Agni Kai made Zuko the automatic victor because an Agni Kai is #(should be?)#between only the two partaking in it and Zuko WAS straight up wiping the floor with her until that very moment where she targeted Katara #which you know great play on Azula part she knows how to manipulate her brother cause once she released she was losing the Agni kai #Azula simply made the choice to get the throne via the line of succession lol)#ah well #atla #zuko

i do think it’s very important that liam pointed out specifically that no matter how hardheaded orym is in what he believes he doesn’t let that stop him from seeking dorian out for comfort and wanting dorian close to him and dorian quickly reciprocating. i think that’s especially important when so many people thought that their opposing sides would drive them further apart (especially on orym’s part) when in actuality we learned that orym’s love for dorian is SO fucking strong that it it supersedes his hardheadedness which when you remember who orym is, is actually a big fucking deal

#*#critical role #dorym #it’s never said so outwardly but when liam and/or robbie decide to give us a moment between those two they fucking take it #it might not be a kiss or saying i love you but it’s said in seeking dorian out after disagreeing in an intense conversation #and it’s said by dorian holding orym close and stroking his hair #we may very well not get an outward declaration of love until like the final night before the final battle #but their love is shown in every moment dorian desperately heals orym in battle #and it’s shown every time orym hand at his sword stands beside dorian in protection and bravery
